Mike Naig

Biography

Secretary Mike Naig was elected to lead the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship in 2018. Through its 12 diverse bureaus, the Department ensures animal health, food safety and consumer protection. It also promotes conservation efforts to preserve our land for the next generation. Naig and his wife, Jaime, have three boys and they spend as much time as possible on their family’s Century farm located in Palo Alto County.
